Soliton Welfare Foundation Hosts Event to Showcase Efforts in Healthcare, Education, and Disaster Relief
Lahore, March 6, 2023: Soliton Welfare Foundation hosted a remarkable event on March 5, 2023, with the theme “Rising Together: Building Pakistan with Soliton Group.” The event was attended by the First Lady of Pakistan Mrs. Samina Alvi, several Professors, with research interest in Artificial Intelligence, from LUMS as well as many distinguished physicians and researchers. About 200 members from the Soliton Group were also present.
Dr. Mansoor Khan, the founder of Soliton Group, addressed the audience and emphasized his vision of working towards the betterment of Pakistan with their three entities – Soliton Technologies, Soliton Ventures, and Soliton Welfare Foundation. He mentioned that the Soliton Welfare Foundation has helped flood victims by providing medical camps, water damage repairs, medicine supplies, food rations, and accommodation units. They also provide monthly food rations to over 700 families. Besides, they are working on building an orphanage and research center.
The First Lady of Pakistan, Mrs. Samina Alvi, congratulated the team on their remarkable efforts and expressed her interest in working with them. She highlighted her keen interest in welfare activities with a special focus on women’s empowerment and making the differently-abled inclusive and skillful. “I am thrilled to be a part of this event and to see the incredible work that Soliton Group is doing to build a better Pakistan. I am committed to working together with them towards achieving our shared vision of a more prosperous and inclusive Pakistan,” said Mrs. Samina Alvi.
